OUR SUFFICIENCY
Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think of anything as being from ourselves, but our sufficiency is from God,
2 Corinthians 3:5
Many Christians believe so much in speaking of, focusing on, and talking about their weaknesses to God and people.They believe this is the way to be helped or to receive help. This is not correct because the Holy Spirit in you does not want you focused on those things you call 'your weaknesses' or 'inadequacies'.
There's a very popular song many people sing, "I cannot do it on my own Lord.." well, that's true, but that's not the end of the story, because in every moment of time, the Holy Spirit just wants you to know, that you are never on your own. You have Him, so no need to think about attempting it on your own.
Let Him walk with you. "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me!!! (Philippians 4:14). That should be your awareness.We have a sufficiency my friend. God's ability is our ability. We are adequate and qualified for ever good work in Him; and He wants us to have this consciousness.
Don't focus on the things you think are your weaknesses, because ever since you came into Christ, they became your areas of strengths. His strength is manifested in those weaknesses, (2 Corinthians 12:9). So you don't have a disadvantage. Focus on your strengths in Him. You're blessed. Remember, if God can, then you can too! TCF.
