MIND BLINDNESS
whose minds the god of this age has blinded, who do not believe, lest the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine on them. 2 Corinthians 4:4
Sometimes, you preach a very beautiful spirit filled message of Jesus to an individual and then after listening to you, it's as though nothing you said penetrated that person.Some people just don't believe the Word, irrespective of how gloriously it was preached to them.
Many times, they are one of those, whose minds the god of this age (Satan and his demons) have blinded. You see, to stop men from seeing the truth, the devil blinded their minds and not their eyes. So a man can have a very good eyesight, and yet be spiritually blind, because to see in the spirit, is to perceive and understand the truth of the word.How then do we get such people free? The weapons of our warfare are not carnal,
but mighty through God, for pulling down strong holds, casting down arguments, and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of Christ.(2 Corinthians 10:4). You see such men are blind to the truth because the devil has bound then with strongholds of lies and false doctrines.
So we engage our mighty and spiritual weapons. Prayer, love, the Word,etc. Take up such folks in prayer and intercession. Pray earnestly that the eyes of their Understanding should open up to the truth.Relate with them in love. Refuse to hate or despise them for their ignorance. Seize every opportunity to preach the word of truth to them consistently. They will be transformed in a matter of time. Stay blessed. TCF.
