CHARACTERISTICS OF FALSE MESSAGES _ BISHOP OLA

 Characteristics of False Messages

Beware of False Messages.

Dear Readers,

1Timothy 4:1 " now the Spirit speaketh expressly that in the latter times some shall depart  from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils."

The following are characteristics of false messages:

 1. They are dressed like the truth, but they are lies from the pit of hell.

2. They encourage people to do iniquity, making the love of many to wax cold, yet claiming to be born again.

 3.  They are very soothing to the hearing,  they are sweet to hear but they are damning to the soul.

 4. They focus only on the earthly things at the expense of the heavenly.  1 Corinthians 15:19 " if in this life only we have hope in Christ,  we are of all men most miserable."

5. They try to justify the false preaching by the multitudes of followers but great multitudes of followers will never make God to accept a false doctrine.

6.  They also justify the false preaching with  wealth and riches. Remember Mark 8:36 ' for what  shall it profit a man,  if he gains the whole world, and lose his own soul."  You can accumulate all wealth and riches of this world and still perish in hell fire.

7.   They may have good captions but don't be deceived.

Dear preachers, don't be too quick to accept and re-preach that message that you have heard  from another preacher, take time to go through the scriptures to confirm the authenticity of that message from the written word of God.  God bless you. Shalom!
