GREEK UNBELIEF
For Jews request a sign, and Greeks seek after wisdom; 1 Corinthians 1:22
The Greek unbelief is the other type of unbelief by which people are influenced with, and thereby miss out on the realities in God.Folks like this refuse to believe God‘s word simply because it doesn’t make any sense humanly speaking.
They will only believe what seems to be explained by human wisdom, and if human wisdom cannot explain it, then aren't believing.For instance, you tell them that it is possible for one to live a lifetime without sickness, and because that’s scientifically impossible they refuse to believe.
You tell them that spirits can influence peoples minds on matters, but because it is beyond human wisdom, they are doubtful. You tell them that the dead can be raised, and they choose not to believe. Why?
Because those with this kind of unbelief will only believe what can be fathomed by men. But the foolishness of God is wiser than men, and the weakness of God is stronger than men.What human thinking and can understand will remain in the carnal realm, but to live above the carnal realm you must live by the wisdom of God.
