WHAT YOU GET OUT OF LIFE IS DETERMINED BY WHAT YOU SEE OUT OF LIFE_ THE GLORY DOME

.WHAT YOU GET OUT OF LIFE IS DETERMINED BY WHAT YOU SEE OUT OF LIFE!

-Pastor Paul Enenche on "Vision and Destiny" at Dunamis International Gospel Centre. Genesis 13:14-15.

The objective of today's service is focused on:

 i) Understanding Vision.

ii) Unraveling people of vision in Scriptures.

iii) Understanding the connection between vision and destiny.

iv) Understanding the place of the Holy Spirit and vision.

Vision is vehicle for destiny. Every great destiny happens as a product of vision. Hosea 4:6. Where there is no vision, people are stripped of honour and dignity. The subject of vision is a critical subject to the life and destiny of outstanding men and women in Scriptures. Without vision, most of the people we see in Scriptures would not amount to anything. We are going to be looking at people who had vision and how it unraveled their destiny.

1. Abraham. Genesis 13:14-15

How was it possible for a man to stand in one place and span a whole Nation. It was not with the physical eyes. It was with the eyes of vision. Abraham saw the place his generation will inherit 450 years before his children will inherit the land. In the journey of vision, the most important thing is not where you are but where you can see. He was battling with having a child until he was 99. Genesis 15:5. Vision gives you pictures.  There is someone here, God is about to expand your vision and no devil can stop you in Jesus Name. When Abraham needed more of God's expansion of his vision, God changed his name from Abram to Abraham. Genesis 17:5. Abraham means father of Nations. God decided to use both words and pictures to enlarge his mind. The mockery of people is not as important as the makng.  In the journey of vision, get ready to be mocked and castigated by people but it does not matter what man says as long as God has said it and it comes to pass.

2. David.

When David confronted Goliath, he displayed the power of vision.  I Samuel 17:43-50. you don't keep quiet when your destiny is being decided especially in the negative. That was the thing with David, he did not allow the enemy have the last say. He was seeing the outcome at the outset. That is vision. When David was talking, there was no physical weapon in his hand. In the realm of vision, you say it before you see it. You don't start from the place of provison. You don't plan according to what is in your hands, you plan according to what you have in your heart. What you have in your heart is what will put what you need in your hands and for some of us, what you need in your hand is still in the hands of the enemy but it is when you begin to see it that you are able to seize it. When this sanctuary was going to be constructed, when we started the foundation, if they had told us the price probably we will not have started and and we were in it before we aaw the implication.

3) Jacob

Jacob painted a picture of what he wanted in front of the animals of Laban. Laban was a crooked man that kept on changing the service of condition of Jacob and he devised a means where the animals will deliver according to what his salary was meant to be. He was using the colour of the animals to determine what should be paid to Jacob. Genesis 30:37-. Jacob decided to paint the picture of what he wanted in front of the animals and that was what would happen. When you are a man of vision, you are a Victor over opposition. If you can see it,no wicked force or opposition can stop you.

4) Jesus Christ

Jesus was the embodiment of vision. John 18:37, John 10:10, Hebrews 12:2. With what he saw ahead of Him, no devil could stop Him.

WHAT IS VISION ABOUT?

- VIsion is man's insight into God’s purpose for him or her. It is when you catch a glimpse of what God wants to do in your life and why you live. Jeremiah 1:5.

- It is the mental picture of expected future. Proverbs 4:23, Jeremiah 29:11. When you have a picture of what God is going to do. 3 John 2. I speak to you that what the angel of darkness expects for us will not come to pass in the Mighty Name of Jesus.

- Vision is a clear definition of life's destination. Habakkuk 2:1-3, Proverbs 4:18

-Vision is a preplay of life's adventure. In vision, you pre-play the future. In memory, you replay the past. The challenge is that we are using our mind to focus on history and this makes you remain outdated. The best you can do for yourself is not to replay the past but to pre-play the future. God is too business minded to waste time manufacturing a non-entity.

WHAT IS THE CONNECTION BETWEEN VISION AND DESTINY. Genesis 13:14-15

1. Dream of today is the reality of tomorrow. Genesis 37:9-10. Genesis 41:41-49. There are so many people waiting for things to happen by chance. it does not happen by chance. Whatever happens by chance will leave by chance.

2. What you do not see coming will never come. I'm not surprised that  in a marriage that is stress less for 27 years. Why? Because I have seen it. I saw it for 7 years that marriage will not be a issue for me. I saw it that it will be stress less. I have never prayed about an issue happening in my marriage. I remember Kenneth Copeland saying that he has never argued with his wife for many years of marriage. He says because it takes two people to argue. if one argues and the other does not, no argument. See it first, then it will come.

3. Life turns in the direction of vision. Proverbs 4:23 where the eyea face is where life moves. If you want to change your life’s direction, change your vision. Change what you are focusing on. Focus on the positives. Your life is steered in the direction of vision.

4. What does not cross your mind may never cross your life. Ephesias 3:20. If it must occur to you, it must occur for you. It must occur to you that you are a missile heading somewhere to explode, that something massive must come out of your generation. I have always known in my life that failure is not an option. Someone asked what my plan is if Ministry did not work. I told the person that there is no plan B. If there was plan B, it would have occured. On a consistent basis, allow things above your comprehension pass your mind.

5. The blank mind equals a bleak future. For many people, it is not the devil, it is the emptiness of mind. If your mind is not empty, your future cannot be empty. One of my seniors in medical school, I asked him where he would do his housemanship, he said he had not made up his mind. He graduated and  he was just sitting down doing nothing. His mind was blank. I told you the story of someone I wanted to assist to do business. I asked him what he wanted to do with the money. He said he doesn't know. I gave him the money and after 6 months, he returned the money because he did not know what to do with the money. Genesis 13:15.

6. You cannot see tomorrow and be trapped today. You can't see yourself as a giver and be trapped as a beggar. Genesis 41:14, Hebrews 12:2. Jesus was able to pass through the cross BECAUSE of what he was able to see ahead of Him.

7. For anything to be within your reach, they must be within your view. What you can see determines what you can touch. Isaiah 14:27. If it is not feasible, it won't be tangible. if it is not seeable, it is not touchable.

8. To live life with chance is to be without a chance. Ephesians 3:20.

9. Life is lived inside out not outside in.  The inner conditions of your heart determines the outward situation of your life. If you don't like your environment, change your invironment. Proverbs 4:23.

10. To run out of vision is to run out of motion, action and manifestation. Habakkuk 2:2.

11. What you realise is at the mercy of what you visualise. What you capture is at the mercy of what you picture. Jer. 1:11-12; Gen. 13:14-15)

12. Everything in life happens twice – first in the realm of the unseen, then in the realm of the seen. Things happen twice: first in the  visible realm and then in the invisible realm.

13. What you get out of life is determined by what you see out of life (Gen. 13:14-15)

14. With vision, everywhere and anywhere is good enough as a starting point (Gen. 13:14-15). It is not where you are that matters but what you can see from where you are

15. Where you face determines where you end (John 18:37) The road you follow determines where you end.

16. Where you see yourself is where you will find yourself (Gen. 41:14). If you can see yourself there, it is only a matter of time before you will find yourself there. You must be prepared for vision because opportunities never meet men and women of vision unprepared. If where you are now is where you don’t like, don’t see yourself there; see yourself where you want to find yourself

17. If you move inward by vision, you will move outward in motion (Gen. 13:14-15)

You cannot move forward inside and stand still outside. This was said by James Allen.

If it happens inside, it must happen outside.

18. If you have the sense to focus on the ultimate, you will have the strength to surmount the immediate. (Heb. 12:2)

WHAT IS THE ROLE OF THE HOLY SPIRIT AND VISION

Paul Yonggi Cho said "vision and dreams are the languages of the Holy Spirit." Joel 2:28. The Holy Spirit speaks vision. When the Holy Ghost come on you, visions and dreams will be natural.

1) The Holy Spirit releases visions and dreams into the heart of the saints.

2) The Holy Spirit empowers vision and translates it into reality. Power to make visions become real is imparted by the Holy Spirit. Ephesians 3:20. There are people here today that what God will do in your life will be heavier than what has ever been done in the Mighty Name of Jesus.
