WHAT WE HAVE IS BEST
For by one offering He has perfected forever those who are being sanctified. Hebrews 10:14
Overtime, we have become used to saying that what we have in Christ is better than what the men of the old covenant had. This is very true, what we have is better than what the men of the old covenant had.
The promises and realities we have in Christ are way better than anything that was, before the death and resurrection of the son of God. But you see, saying that what we have is better, does not capture the complete truth of our inheritance. Our theme verse says " by one sacrifice He has perfected for ever those who are being sanctified.
God perfected forever all who are being sanctified in Christ. That was God doing His best work ever in salvation. God did His best on us, and God’s best is the real best. If He did His best in salvation then no doubt, salvation gave us the best there could ever be from God.
What Jesus did is more than good enough. It’s the best that could’ve been done. The perfect work. Now we who are partakers of Christ's perfect work, must decide to strive for the mastery to live out, this perfection while in the body.Refuse to be anything less than what Jesus died for, because He gave us His best. Live the best life Christ called you to live. You’re blessed. TCF.
