*LET HIM BROOD*
The earth was without form, and void; and darkness was on the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters. *Genesis 1:2*
*Many times, people try to apply or practice scriptures, and then come back saying that it’s not working. A lot of times however this is due to a poor understanding of the word.* You see, as you study scriptures, you’d realize that there are patterns of the Spirit, inspired by the Spirit, which we must follow if we would have the same results that the Spirit gave.
*One of such is the releasing of words to handle situations or problems. Many times people speak to a certain situation, and quickly run back believing that nothing happened.* But we can take a cue from God Himself, When He saw that the earth was without form and was void, and darkness covered the deep.
*Many know the popular verse “God said let there be light, and there was light”. But many failed to recognize that something very important happened before God then said. Verse two reveals this.* The Spirit of God was hovering, moving over the face of the water. More correctly the spirit was Brooding. Bringing stuff into preparation. You see, that is so important. God didn’t “just say” all of a sudden.
*He first let the spirit to brood , and when the spirit spirit of brooded then God said, let there be light . The brooding of the spirit makes adequate power available to bring to pass what God said.* If God let the spirit brood before He spoke, how much more you? Let the spirit brood! How? By praying and singing with the spirit. Earnest prayers make power available. By praying in tongues you’re letting the Spirit brood. So when you say “let this be”, there would be power available to make it be! Glory to God. TCF
