Isaiah 54:17

No weapon formed against you shall prosper,

And every tongue which rises against you in judgment

You shall condemn.

This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD,

And their righteousness is from Me,”

Says the LORD.

This is a popular scripture a lot of persons quote quite often. No weapon fashioned against you shall prosper, and every tongue which rises against you in judgement, you shall condemn. What's more important than just quoting the scripture is understanding it's meaning, significance, and how to apply it.

No weapon fashioned against you shall prosper means a weapon that can be potent to work against you cannot be designed or released by anybody. The moment a weapon is sent your way, it loses it's efficacy if you're living as a servant of God (one sold out for His work.) This means you should not fear any weapon, whether you know them or not.

The second part is more interesting. Every tongue that rises in judgement against you, you shall condemn. Many times, people expect the tongues speaking against them to just shut up by themselves, but no. This scripture gives you the responsibility and authority to silence and shut up every lying and judgmental tongue of the evil one.

Why people have a problem at times is that, they don't take up responsibility for what they should, such as in this case, or maybe they do so in fear. This is wrong. The authority to neutralise every ochestration and word of the evil one against you is in your tongue. Don't just keep quiet and watch things go wrong. Speak up and cancel every evil word that seeks to affect you negatively. Take charge of your space. You're blessed. -TCF
