LET YOUR FEET BE BEAUTIFUL
Isaiah 52:7
How beautiful upon the mountains
Are the feet of him who brings good news,
Who proclaims peace,
Who brings glad tidings of good things,
Who proclaims salvation,
Who says to Zion,
“Your God reigns!”
An integral part of our salvation is the message we carry with us wherever we go. We must understand that our salvation gives us a message which we must carry with us wherever we go. The message of the good news of Christ.
It should be reflected in our language, and in everything we say, whether we are preaching at the moment or not. We should not be the kind who are always full of negative and disheartening news. The Holy Spirit doesn't want you spreading such, because they spike fear and confusion in the hearts of men.
If your feet must be beautifull, then they must be shod (prepared) with the gospel of peace (Ephesians 6:15), such that wherever your feet enters, the good news enters. Be a carrier of the message of Christ even in things as simple as your greeting.
Spread that message that gives love, faith, direction, and salvation. Be an agent of Christ, and consciously refuse to be used by the devil to spread negative news, because the information people are fed by goes on to shape who they turn out to be. Be wise, be a vessel for God. You're blessed. -TCF
