Ecclesiastes 8:4

Where the word of a king is, there is power; And who may say to him, “What are you doing?”

We who are in Christ are Kings and priests (Revelation 5:10). We are Kings on account of our authority in Christ, and we are priests because we are made living stones, to continually offer worship and living sacrifices to God. In essence, we are kingly priests. That's why we are addressed as a royal priesthood.

Now the Bible makes us understand that where the Word of a king is, there is power! This means that if we must learn to exercise our Christ-given authority, we must learn to release our words because that's where the power is, in our words! We must learn to speak things we want to see into being, in line with the Word of God.

We must also remove things we don't want by speaking them out, still in line with God's Word. Whatever we bind on earth should be in line with God's Word and whatever we loose on earth should be in line with His will as well. That's our authority. We are Kings and our power is in our tongue, to speak words that are Spirit and Life (John 6:63)

Don't keep quiet when you see things go wrong, and don't start speaking in the negative either. You must speak in the light of the Word. Because you are a king, and the Words you release have power! By your words you will be justified and by your words you will be condemned (Matthew 12:37) Don't keep quiet about things, but don't speak anyhow. Ensure you release your words into line with the Word. That's where the power is. You're blessed! -TCF
