THE WORD IS AMEN

Revelation 3:14

“And to the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write,

These things says the Amen, the Faithful and True Witness, the Beginning of the creation of God:

Jesus in His message to the church of Laodicea addressed Himself as the Amen. This is a little uncommon with the regular use of the Word 'amen' especially after a prayer. Well amen does not mean "let it be so" or "so it will be" as many people have thought and used it to mean over time.

"Amen" actually means that something is sure in the now. That it is trust worthy and accurate. Amen means "this is what it is, and it cannot change." So when Jesus addressed Himself as the Amen, He was saying that in the now, and forever, He is sure and trustworthy. He is true and truth and cannot change.

He is always currently guaranteed. Now Jesus is the Word of God, and see the description He gave Himself. He is the Amen. This means the Word of God to us at anytime is sure, certain, true and dependable. The Word of God is trustworthy and is currently guaranteed. Many people come across the Word and aren't sure whether to believe it or not.

They can't tell if it's true in their own lives. Well if you're like that, then this is for you. The Word of God is very stable and cannot change, irrespective of who the Word is coming to. So believe the Word for what it is, and for who He is. The Word is the Amen! That's a sure guarantee. Mix the Word with faith and practice it. You'll experience the reality! The Word is the Amen! You're blessed. -TCF
