HUMILITY FOR MORE GRACE
Proverbs 3:34
Surely He scorns the scornful, but He gives grace to the humble nkjv.
We have already established that all you need to go farther and do more with God is more grace. That's all you need to have the capacity to handle more resources. To get more grace, we see a little secret in the book of Proverbs. God scorns the scornful but gives grace to the humble. This shows us how God Himself responds to two different attitudes within people.
The scornful are those who always look down on others. They have a feeling that if they are not involved in a thing, then that thing is rubbish. They judge other people with contempt. They are more or less proud. And this scripture says that God in fact treats them the way they treat others. He considers them not good enough for more. He looks down on them.
He scorns the scornful. In other words, they cannot receive from Him too because of their attitude. But guess what? He gives more grace to the humble. If you have regard for others, and you don't over place your importance above others, then God will also rate you highly. He will make you able to receive more.
In essence, He increases your capacity simply because of your humility. You see, a sure way to more grace is sincere humility from the heart. You want God to uplift you and increase your ability to handle more, then be humble. Don't ignore this. His grace is sufficient to help you. Remain in the Word and in prayers. You're blessed. -TCF
