TAKE UP THE SHIELD OF FAITH, RECREATE YOUR WORLD 2
Hebrews 11:3
First we see from Hebrews 1:3 that Jesus, who is the expression, of the glory of God is upholding all things by the power of His Word. The Word translated "upholding" in the KJV is rendered as "maintaining", and "propelling" in the AMP. In the Greek, it is the word "pheró" meaning to bear or bring forth. In other words, the revelation or expression of the glory of God, maintains, propels, upholds things, brings forth things by the power of His Word. Word here is "rhema", meaning spoken words. So there's got to be a speaking of the Word of God for things to come forth or be maintained in their course. Hey!! We're talking about creative and recreating power here. The power in the spoken Word of God by faith. Glory to God! In Hebrews 11:3 it's made a bit clearer. "By faith we understand that the "worlds" were "framed" by the "Word of God", so that things which are seen, were not made out of things which are visible".
Did you get it? Things you see (your world) is framed, made from things which are not seen (your spoken words)! "Worlds" in that verse is 'aion' meaning the course of your life, the current happenings in space and time, the way things go and happen around you. The word "framed" is 'katartizo' meaning to make perfect, to complete, to bring into a proper condition. "Word of God" here is 'rhema'. Spoken words, confession, deceleration, affirmation, in line with God's word! So this means that your life or world has a path, a way God has destined for it to go in His Word. The way of victory! the way of peace! The way of health!The way of joy! The way of SINLESSNESS! The way of prosperity! The way of positive influence! Upward and forward, strength! So if your life isn't going in this way, if it isn't going how it's supposed to go, then by faith (what you believe about God's Word) through the Rhema of God (the speaking, declaration and affirmation of God's Word) you can correct, you can perfect, you can bring your life back to proper condition! Hallelujah! Simply by the Rhema, the spoken Word of God, you can katartizo!! Glory to God!
Now you don't wait until things go wrong. You just continually make it a habit to speak God's Word everyday by faith into your life. That way, your life remains upheld by the power of God in His Word. Hallelujah!! Why don't you start today!! Recreate your world (life). Change your confession, your proclamation and affirmation. Think positively and godly. You're blessed. If you haven't accepted Jesus Christ into your life, talk to God with these words and mean them. "Dear Father,I believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God who died on the cross and resurrected for me. I accept Jesus into my life. I declare that He's Lord of my life.
