Daily devotional: The rapture cont'd

1 Thessalonians 5:6

Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober.

Now we have understood that the rapture is coming and we should be glad about it. We must remember that we are the generation the will experience the rapture. The signs are so evident; of the coming of the antichrist, and the great tribulation, and the second coming of Jesus. And the rapture will happen before these occur (revelation 5-19). Many Prophecies have been fulfilled, and we are in the wake of the fulfillment of more Prophecies to usher these events in.

It's also important to note that the rapture can happen anytime now. There's no particular sign for it. And as such, we must live in readiness. Live everyday for Christ. Not just everyday but every moment. Whatever you do, do so to the glory of God. Be joyful and glad, living righteously because you are God's righteousness.

The Holy Spirit in you perfectly equips you for all you need to do. Just engage Him by talking to Him. We must also work tirelessly to bring others into this same joy that we have found in Christ. Because unless they are in Christ, they are condemned already. The devil is working overtime to distract and frustrate our agenda, but we have authority over him.

Refuse to be distracted, and exercise your authority over him which is in the name of Jesus Christ. If you haven't accepted Jesus into your life, do so now.

Say this prayer to God and mean it " Dear God, I come before you through Your Son Jesus Christ. I believe He died for me and rose again. I accept and confess that He's Lord of my life. I receive forgiveness for my sins, and eternal Life into me. I receive your precious Holy Spirit into me." Thank you Lord for I'm born again". Congratulations. You're so blessed. -TCF
